How to build your Plantini


Hello! Welcome to the instructional page of how to create your Plantini. Simply follow the step by step instructions to help create you tiny plant house. If you have any questions or require any further help then please write to info(at)another-studio(dot)com.
ONE Check you have all the contents: 5 x metal etched pieces 1 x planting pot 1 x seed sachet 1 x compost pellet
TWO Start by building the main body of the structure. Take one of the pieces that look like this outline.
THREE Fold the walls inwards. Use the planting pot to help create the correct shape.
FOUR Fold the roof inwards until the edges meet.
FIVE Repeat steps TWO,THREE & FOUR with the indentical second piece. TABS On each piece, there are two horizontal tabs on each side of the etched door. Push all four tabs inwards 90 degrees.These are used in the final assembly to rest the plant house onto the planting pot. EYE Fold the two 'eyes' outwards and slot onto the hooks to join the two parts together.

SIX Next we move onto the canopy section which can be a little tricky. This section can be difficult to form, but fitting the roof apex (final assembly) will help pull it into shape. Form the roof facets by making valley (marked red) or mountain folds. Locate the starting line and move clockwise to form the folds in order. SEVEN Now fold down the canopy sides so they meet. Watch the animation to see how this is done
EIGHT The final etched piece is the Apex roof which is the top of the plant house. Locate the starting fold (marked red) and bend this inwards. Rotate the peice clockwise and repeat on each fold line until you create a dome-like shape. Watch the animations to help show this section.

Then fold the 'sides' of the dome down and inwards until they meet.
Lastly, push the top of the roof inwards so all the sections meet.
NINE The next stage is to secure the canopy to the apex. The apex has six tabs around the bottom edge. Locate these into the corresponding slots in the canopy section.
Keeping the tabs located in the slots, turn the two parts upside down and with your finger (or pencil) fold the tabs inwards, towards the centre. Do this for all six tabs to securely lock the two parts together.
TEN Now you can prepare the compost in your planting dish and sow the seeds. Then assemble the whole piece!
